My idiot brother got arrested

over the weekend. Please don't ask me about the details. I have to post bail and I don't know anything about this process.

Sorry to hear that. Well, "posting bail" is essentially going to be a contract between you and the bail agent. The bail agent guarantees that your brother will appear in court. If he fails to do so, you are on the hook for whatever the bail amount is. I don't know your situation so be careful. There are bail agents just across the courthouses and I am sure there are many listed in the yellowpages.
